FBI Sting Operation Reveals Highly-Organized Cyber Gangs and Exposes Specific Titles and Duties
The FBI recently released interesting findings detailing how cyber criminals are very business-like, working together, and operating like most other businesses that are out to make a profit. Based on a number of sting operations, FBI staff have uncovered the various roles individuals play within a criminal organization, down to the specific titles and duties, including coders, hackers, fraudsters, hosters, techies and leaders. Not only are these very organized units, these cyber criminals are active in online forums, discussing techniques, sharing tools and tips.
