CNP Expo is just a few days away. Here’s what you need to know to stay ahead of the curve.
We are so excited to head down to sunny (and sizzlin’ hot) Florida for CNP Expo next week! This is our first year exhibiting at the event (you can find us at stand 107), which will bring attention to some very important and timely topics.
The ongoing fight against Card Not Present (CNP) Fraud is a tough one. Case in point: A recent study by ACI Worldwide found that global CNP fraud rates rose 30% during the first part of 2015, compared to the previous year. That trend is certainly not showing signs of slowing anytime soon.
Which just makes CNP Expo such a valuable event.
For those of you who are attending next week, here’s what you need to know.
CNP Fraud is a significant problem for issuers and merchants across the country and around the world. To effectively combat it, there are some distinct elements to think about. See our recent webinar "Fighting CNP Fraud: 5 Things to Consider" to learn about them.
It's not just about fraud prevention anymore. Sure, CNP Fraud is topic that we must continue to discuss and improve, but the conversation has shifted from solely focusing on fraud prevention to also include improving the experience for “good customers” as well. That's why iovation is empowering businesses to balance security and usability by adding an irrefutable and transparent 2nd factor of authentication to their current processes.
Our VP of Global Partnerships, Max Anhoury, will be participating on a panel, “Keep it Real: Assessing the state of the art in consumer authentication," on Tuesday, May 24th at 3:00pm. You don't want to miss it.
We’re sponsoring a networking session the first day! Stop by the demo area to hear Michael Thelander, our Authentication Product Marketing Manager, discuss “Beyond Passwords: Balancing Risk and Trust in Authentication."
There's more to come beyond the Expo. On June 8th, we are hosting a joint webinar with the Aite Group that explores the current state of the U.S. EMV migration, and the associated account takeover, CNP fraud, and application fraud trends. The new research will help executives benchmark EMV’s progress and better understand the rapidly shifting fraud landscape. Register now to save your seat.
We look forward to seeing you next week in Orlando! In the meantime, be sure to keep the conversation moving at #CNPExpo and follow us on Twitter at @iovation.
