Dubbed “Britain’s Greatest Fraudster” by the British media, clearly, anyone with such a unique skill set is intrinsically valuable to almost any major organisation… And Sales now advises some of the biggest businesses on their fraud and loss prevention strategies.
The AA Case Study
The AA will be presenting how they leverage data from iovation to identify and mitigate fraud, identify positive customers and reduce manual referrals.
Chris Monk is Head of both the Fraud And Debt Recovery Units at The AA. He has experienced a number of positions within the insurance sector as he has progressed to his current role. Chris’s current focus is minimising the impact on the business from both Fraud activity and bad debt. The use of Iovation is key within this area and therefore a lot of Chris’s time is focused on maximising the use of current rules and amending these to ensure they identify devices/accounts involved in organised fraud activity. Always an active member of both the wider Insurance Fraud Community and the Iovation Insurer user group and believes in the power of sharing best practice and experiences to combat the fight against fraud.
Steph Driscoll is the Operational Fraud Team Manager at the AA and prior to joining the AA has had various roles within the High St Broker sector. Steph manages a team of 10 fraud investigators who are responsible for identification of fraudulent policies incepted or attempted to be incepted within the AA. A key part of Steph’s role is to ensure that the team prioritise the various systems/intelligence/leads effectively to maximise the identification of fraudulent business and recycle the data captured to ensure no repeat business. As with Chris, Steph is an active member of the Insurance & Iovation Fraud Community who is at the forefront of sharing intelligence and use of the Fraud Force Community Site.
